The second thing you need to do is make sure that you keep as active as possible.
The rule goes: if you are sitting then stand up, if you are standing, then start walking, if you are walking, jog, and if you are jogging then run; in other words, get to moving. Keep as active as possible. The more you exert yourself, the more calories you burn.
The third thing you will need is a scale.
There is nothing more motivating than to see that number falling even the smallest bit. That’s how you know you are succeeding. Believe me, as soon as you see a drop in your weight, you’ll want to keep reproducing those results. Pretty soon you’ll want to keep going beyond the couple of pounds that you wanted to shed for the big dance or special occasion. Plus, a scale also keeps you honest about your efforts.
Snack on peanuts, walnuts, pecans, pears, apples, berries, and the occasional dried meat. Do all this for a week, eating your last meal before six p.m. and stay true to it, and see the pounds just disappear off your belly.
