Tattoos are cool and are a great way to express ourselves. You can basically come up with anything that symbolizes you and wear it as a trademark. But there are some downsides to having tattoos. What if you are really smart and have a lot of degrees and certifications. Your application gets pulls from a dream job, that you always wanted, for an interview, You may have all of the people skills you need to get the job but for the simple fact that your body is covered in tattoos, they might not hire you. People get a negative connotation about tattoos and make it to seem like if you have them you are some type of criminal. And you probably haven’t committed a crime in your life. Or you probably had a little too much to drink the other night and decided to get a ridiculous tattoo of something you would have never gotten sober. And the most dreadful, when you tattoo your partner’s name on you and then you two break up. Now you have a constant reminder of him or her. But fret not, I will show you proven techniques to get rid of your unwanted tattoos.
The first and most effective option, that many of you have heard of is laser removal. Laser removal treatments work by targeting the ink with very high concentrated light. This will break the ink into tiny fragments. Then they are cleared away by your immune system. But the more you do this method the more you take a risk of damaging your skin. Depending on your tattoo it can take 1-10 sessions to treat. Each session will run about $250-$850. I personally recommend that you consult with your doctor before trying this method. It may result in intense scarring.
Another way of getting rid of tattoos is tattoo removal creams. I really suggest this for the people who can not afford surgery. These tattoo removal creams are made to fade away tattoos using topical applications. You use these daily and the tattoos will vanish. They have no pain or discomfort when applying. They can range from $50-$150 dollars. I have seen these products at Walmart and local tattoo shops.
This is actually a method that I have used to get rid of a tattoo. You will want to do this if you have gotten the tattoo recently. I have tattoos and I know the process of how they heal. There are 4 phases. A fresh tattoo that has just been done (still puffy, skin is kind of red from irritation), when it scabs up, when the scab falls off, and when it starts to look embedded in your skin. You will want to do this before it scabs up. Try to do this closest to the date you got the tattoo. You will need a bath rag and a lot of Vaseline (petroleum jelly). Cover the rag with the petroleum jelly. Go back and forth rubbing your tattoo with medium force. Do this for about 30 minutes. Now saturate your tattoo with the jelly. Place paper towels over the jelly to avoid trash getting in it. Do not wash the jelly off. Sleep like this, eat like this, and do all your daily activities like this. Repeat until the tattoo is gone. You are probably saying this will never work but I have tried it and it did. The tattoo artist strictly tells you do not leave in water for extended periods of time and keep it moisturized but don’t over do it. Well one tattoo, I felt like I made a mistake so I did the exact opposite of what he said.I hope this article was helpful for you.
