Fancy spa treatments for the skin and body can be expensive, which is why I create my own. My favorite one to create and use is one that helps purify, rejuvenate and replenish the skin with plenty of vital nutrients. This luxurious inexpensive homemade treatment is poured into a tub full of warm water to create a pampering soak that will calm and beautify the skin naturally.
Natural Ingredients Needed
For this handmade beautifying treatment, you will need five organic cucumbers and two honeydew melons from a local farm stand or organic whole food shop. These fruits will provide nourishing nutrients to the skin and body. You will also need organic jasmine essential oil that is skin safe from a local herbal shop. The jasmine oil is useful for reducing redness and scaring. Then you will need about two-pounds of Himalayan sea salt, which is an ingredient that helps detoxify and remove impurities from the skin naturally. Another important ingredient you will need is honey. Honey helps provide nutrients that soften and condition the skin and body so it can be glowing and youthful. You can find the salt and honey at the grocery store as well.
Useful Tools You’ll Need
The appliances you will need to make this beautifying treatment are a juicer, a large mixing bowl and a wire whisk. If you do not have a juicer, you can buy one at a kitchen shop or you could borrow one from a family member or friend. I personally always have a juicer on hand because I like juicing for health reasons and other beautifying purposes.
Whenever I am ready for the at home spa treatment, I juice the fruits in the juicer and pour the juice into a large mixing bowl. Then, I add in twenty drops of the essential oil, the two-pounds of salt and about a cup of honey. Next, I combine the ingredients together with the wire whisk until they are well blended together. After it is time to fill up the bathtub with warm water and dump all of the mixture that was just made into it. The treatment will melt into the water rapidly and create a sweet fruity floral scent that is very uplifting, but also relaxing. Once the tub is filled with the soak, I get in and enjoy my rejuvenating nourishing bath for as long as I can. I try to do an hour and thirty-minutes, but you can do less or more time if you prefer. I always feel the longer I soak in the treatment the better my skin looks and feels afterwards.
If any of you are allergic or are sensitive to any of the natural ingredients used in this spa treatment I would recommend that you do not use it for beautifying purposes. I can say that since I have been making and using it, I have experienced no bad reactions and only positive beautifying results. My skin always looks and feels soft and vibrant when I use this special handmade spa treatment.
