With the Foxit Reader software, you can insert videos and audio into your PDF documents. It will walk you through the steps of inserting audio and video into PDF documents using Foxit Reader.
You will need to begin with opening the document you want to insert the audio or video into. Once you have it opened, you will need to open the Home menu in Foxit Reader by clicking the Home tab at the top of the program.
Now you will need to locate the Video and Audio button in the Home menu. Once you click it, your mouse will turn into a crosshair. You will need to draw a box on the document where you want to insert the audio or video.
Once you draw the box, the Add Video & Audio box will pop up. In this box, you will need to click the Browse button at the end of the Location field. Then browse your computer for the audio or video file that you want to add. Once you locate the file, double click it to open it.
Next, you will need to drop the Content Type box down and select the type of content the file is. Sometimes it will automatically select it for you. If it doesn’t, you will have to do it yourself. You can change the embed and show player options if you want to. Then click the OK button on the box that is opened. Once the box closes, the audio or video you chose will appear on the PDF document.
