1. 5th Annual Wag Hotels’ Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs.
The 5th Annual Wag Hotels’ Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs is a great Easter event that includes every member of the family, even the four legged ones. It is actually scheduled the week before Easter on Saturday, April 12th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. If you buy your tickets in advance it’s $15 a person. You can also buy your tickets at the door for $20. The event is to be held at McKinley Park at 601 Alhambra Blvd in Sacramento, California. The Easter egg hunt starts exactly at 12:00 pm so make sure you get there in time so your dog can have fun hunting treat-filled eggs. The Easter Bunny is making a special visit as well which can be a great photo opportunity.
2. Easter Bonnet Promenade & Spring Ball.
The Easter Bonnet Promenade & Spring Ball is a historic reenactment event that is taking place on April 19th in Old Historic Sacramento. This event has been going on for 19 years and is a free event that’s welcome to all ages. Participants are asked to gather in front of the Sacramento History Museum at 10:45 am with the promenade starting at 11:00 am. The promenade consists of people dressing up in 19th century dress clothes and walking through the streets of Old Historic Sacramento for about an hour. After the promenade the Spring Ball will be held in the Standford Gallery, located at 111 I Street, at 2:00 pm. This is a great event for those who enjoy dressing up in old historic clothing. This is also a great event for those who want to save money since it’s a free event.
3. Fremont Presbyterian Sunrise Easter Service.
The Fremont Presbyterian Sunrise Easter Service is a religious event that is to be held at Glen Hall Park at 6:30 am as the sun rises. The service will be held by the river to celebrate the religious aspects of Easter, resurrection of Christ . Beverages and refreshments will provided and all guests are welcome, even pets! Music will be performed by Modern Worship Band and showing up in your pajamas is not only allowed but encouraged as well. 4. 27th Annual Pancake Breakfast & Easter Egg Hunt.
The 27th Annual Pancake Breakfast & Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Clunie Community Center in Sacramento, California. It is sponsored by the East-Sacramento-Midtown Kiwanis Club and will take place on Saturday, April 19th from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. The event costs $6 for adults and $4 for children which includes unlimited pancakes, juice, fruit, coffee, carnival games, face painting, and an Easter egg hunt for children 10 and younger.
