They Daytona Nation Speedway is where NASCAR all began. It is hosted on the sand of Daytona Beach. It holds the biggest NASCAR event ever, The Daytona 500. It is hosted in February and it can be considered the most prestigious race worldwide. The race is 500 miles long
Charlotte Motor Speedway
The Charlotte Motor Speedway is located in Concord, North Carolina. The track is home to the Coca Cola 600 and other various races throughout the year. Not only is there a track for NASCAR, but there is also a world famous drag strip. Also right next to that is a state of the art clay oval racetrack.
Talladega Super Speedway
I am sure you have heard of this track from the movie Talladega nights. And yes it is a real race track! It is also considered one of the more dangerous tracks as the races reach speeds of up most 190 miles per hour. It was an Indian burial ground and is considered cursed. The Talladega Super Super Speedway is home to some of the most intense and nerve racking NASCAR finishes.
Bristol Motor Speedway
Bristol Motor speedway is a very interesting track. It is only half a mile and it is an oval. On average racers finish one lap in 15 seconds which is very fast compared to other tracks. Bristol is also known to have many fights after the race’s. The stands are grand and since the track is an oval and very fast, it is very easy to find a good seat that will ensure you get a good view of the racers.
Las Vegas Motor Speedway
The Las Vegas Motor Speedway is one of the newer tracks in NASCAR racing. It is in the first 5 events of the NASCAR season and is a landmark for NASCAR racing. The have very cool garages where viewers can walk by and over and watch all the mechanics behind building and fixing a NASCAR car. It is located in Clark County, Nevada.
