Gone are the days of just boiling and dropping eggs into dye. Now the newest and brightest trends include designed boiled and decorates eggs. Hopefully, you will find a tip in here worth trying. With painted eggs, textured eggs, and glossy eggs, another dimension comes to light in an already bright world. All styles are not edible.
Nail Polished Eggs
We boil the eggs and allow them to cool completely.
Paint – Decide how to want your eggs to look, bold, polka dots, exotic, Faberge
Colors of Polish and gold or silver accent colors
Toilet paper tubes but into about 1/2 ” high circles
Paint each egg with the base color – Don’t worry about very bottom, this will have to be done in parts
Decide your decorations such as polka dots, stripes gold time in center of egg with polka dots at top and bottom is usually very pretty.
When top is dry, you can flip the egg and do the bottom.
Can spray with a clear coat once completely dry to seal in colors
French Manicure Eggs
Sometimes, you may even want the base color to be white.

Gloss Nail Enamel Pale Pink, and Creamy Beige , White
You may want to mix and match the types of French Manicures; I personally prefer all pink/white
Paint your bottom first, is using Pink and White, Don’t Worry about bottom.
Tip your egg up to allow a complete dry.
Once dry, you can turn egg over and begin top portion, either pink or white.
Paint the White Part white again will allow you to cover any surface cracks, seal in the egg to prevent odor as well as to define the overall look.
Once completely painted, you can lay in a baskets filled with gold or silver tinsel. Very Chic Indeed!
Lace and Ribbon Eggs
Thin and delicate ribbon, yarn or other similar material
Boiled and cooled Eggs
Glue a piece of the ribbon at an angle on the bottom of the egg wrap the egg is a circular or zigzag pattern to hold the ribbon against the egg. Glue tip where you stop.
You may continue the pattern as little or as much as you want until you reach your desired results.
Making bold, colorful or exotic material wrapped eggs is a great way to offset the traditionally dyed Easter eggs.
