Cadillac, Michigan – Cadillac Freedom Festival
Location: Cadillac City Park – Cadillac, Michigan
This four-day celebration takes place July 3 – 6, 2014. Events include the Freedom Festival Parade, fireworks, outdoor concerts, special activities for children, free community picnic, blessing of the boats, food/merchandise vendors, a beverage tent, and community church service.
New this year is an imagination station, a princess tea party, a dunk tank, a bike parade and an all-day disc golf tournament.

Traverse City, Michigan – National Cherry Festival/Fourth of July Fireworks
Location: Downtown Traverse City – Traverse City, Michigan
This areas most popular event, The National Cherry Festival, begins on July 4, 2014 with a wide-range of community activities for the whole family. Festivities include a beer tent, carnival rides, food booths, community picnic, a show by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and a fantastic fireworks display.

Thompsonville, Michigan – Crystal Mountain Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration
Location: Crystal Mountain Resort – Thompsonville, Michigan
This annual celebration converts Crystal Mountain Resort into ‘Main Street U.S.A.’ Events include a family carnival, golf scramble, petting zoo, chairlift rides, fireworks over the mountain, live entertainment, outdoor movies, family campfires, and more.
This event is free and open to the public. Additional charges will apply for certain activities. Crystal Mountain Old-Fashioned Fourth of July celebration takes place from June 29 – July 6, 2014.The main Fourth of July activities/fireworks will be on July 3, 2014.

Frankfort, Michigan – Fourth of July Fireworks and Celebration
Location: Downtown/Beach Area – Frankfort, Michigan
Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Frankfort offers one of the areas most beautiful locations to celebrate the Fourth of July.
Annual events include a parade, Art in the Park exhibits, carnival, sand sculpture contest and a fireworks display over Lake Michigan. This one-day celebration takes place on July 4, 2014.
