Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour and Icona Pop
On April 13 we start off with Miley Cyrus on the Bangerz Tour at the Schottenstein Center, which lies smack dab in the center of The Ohio State University campus. I’m sure you all have heard about the controversial songs and ways of Miley Cyrus, but you can’t deny that you probably catch yourself singing to her tunes like, We Can’t Stop and Wrecking Ball. Plus, you never know what she’ll bring to the table. If interested she’ll be touring with Icona Pop and the concert starts at 7:00 PM Sunday. Tickets are on sale now and there are still plenty of seats left at Ticketmaster , the tickets range anywhere from $50-$300 a seat.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Only two days after Miley you can head downtown to Nationwide Arena and take a trip down memory lane with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Springsteen has been an icon for rock music since the early 70’s and I’m sure he’ll bring out the classical rock tunes for everyone to enjoy. They’ll start rocking out on Tuesday, April 15th at 7:30 PM in the middle of the arena, which means a 360 degree view, so not a bad seat in the house. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster starting at $54 and working your way up to $133 for general admission floor seats.
Cher and Cyndi Lauper
April 30th we’ll ‘Turn Back Time” with one of the most talked about and biggest icon to women in music, CHER and she’s touring with another hot singer from the 80’s Cyndi Lauper. Cher will be bringing her tour to Columbus, Ohio and I’m sure you won’t want to miss this one. She too will be downtown at Nationwide Arena and parking is right across the street within the parking garage, which ranges from $10-$15 to park. The stage will be set up in the back of the arena so all seats will be staring at the stage, tickets for the concert are already on sale at Ticketmaster and range from $36 for the upper levels all the way to $124 for floor, but hurry these seats won’t last long.
Willie Nelson & Family and Alison Krauss & Union Station
For all of you country fans out there, there is going to be a BIG treat for you come May 14th, Willie Nelson and Family will be in town. Willie Nelson has been singing his heart out and playing the guitar since the 1960’s. Willie Nelson will be taking you Columbus fans out of the big city and into the country with his number one hits, such as: Good Hearted Woman, Beer for My Horses, On the Road Again, and Always on My Mind.
