Making extra cash from your junk does not have to be difficult. Start by cleaning your closet and drawers and creating a bag or box to toss unwanted items in. I would recommend going through each drawer and sorting though every single article of clothing that you have. I recently moved about 6 months ago and I figured I had done a good job then at weeding out unwanted items. Boy was I wrong! At the end of this process I had a big pile of items I had either not worn or no longer desire to wear. When you pick up an item ask yourself these 3 questions. Have I worn this item in the last month? Does this item fit? Is this the only item like this that I have? If you answered yes to all or even 2 of these questions keep it! If not, then is time to part with the item.
When you have created a pile of items to sell its now time to research similar items and take pictures. Look on eBay to see what similar items are selling for. Search by brand name and size to find items like yours. Some smaller items may sell better if grouped together in a lot. Take pictures on a clean background. If you have a light colored item do not take a picture of it on light colored carpet. A high contract background is best when presenting items among thousands of other listings. When writing a description and title make sure to be clear and accurate. It’s recommended to state the brand, size, color, and style in the title and then give more information such as measurements in the description.
