“As our fictional books are released to the public, we want to reach as big of audience as possible.” Says Anthony W. Antolic, the founder of this faith based company that works out of Vancouver Washington. Broken Glass keeps a blog that explains the philosophy that keeps the 40 year old author going through out his 20 hour days. “I sleep on Saturdays,” says the diligent working man who barely graduated from high school. Anthony W. Antolic was not satisfied with the idea that he should just except sexed and become complacent with the idea of never amounting to much of anything, which made him co it to making up for all the time he spent wasting his life as a child.
Mr. Antolic believes that the public school system in intentionally dropping the ball when they are find a student who may become an upset to the established curve that the teachers must use for their grading. “The students who conform are the once that industry wants. It is my belief that the public schools are being used to screen our children and not educate them. After all the students who can think go in to business for themselves and are no longer a part of the indentured workforce that big business wants and needs.” Mr. Antolic explains to me as I frantically try to find my taped recorder so I don’t miss anything.
“But you are employing people as well aren’t you? I ask the 40 year old Iraqi veteran.
“No!” He replied. “I give people a chance to become self employed by narrating my books and promoting them. This way no one can complain about not getting enough work because they have control of their own success. I believe in freedom and working for someone other than God is slavery.”
I asked Anthony what he meant and he explained that he got trapped into a temporary job that never had any intention of ever hiring him yet the job worked him every day sometimes seven days a week. By the time he got home it was too late in the day to look for work, 20 years later Anthony found himself in the same dead end job and the company still had no intention of hiring him. But by that time he was too old to get the job anyway. “I do the work that the union guys do but the company only pays me half of what they would a company man, it is not right the way I get taken advantage of, but now I am trapped in the job because it is all that I know. At least that is what I once believed, one day my wife’s grandmother asked me why I couldn’t go to work for myself. At the time I had the first section of the Road to Salvation Project published through Kindle but no sales and no Idea how to market it. I learned a lot since then about how to sell my books. My niche is educational books that teach morality and a wide range of subjects that are taught with entertaining stories.”
Anthony explained that he saw a need for books like these while he researched the Road to Salvation Project that is found in three editions, kindle, large and standard print in paper back. “By taking God out of the picture and rejecting any form of public religious practices, America has removed any concept of morality from the public eye. As a result the basic trust between men has been lost and with it we created an unstable economy.” Mr. Antolic explains to me while he makes his daily blog entry to www.brokenglassonthestreet.com, a website that is dedicated to the reformation of the American public education system that he believes has intentionally lowered the education standards for our youth.
As I spoke with Anthony, I flipped through his book and saw that he used multiple scriptures to illustrate his points with spiritual insights that clearly define the moral doctrines that have been lost to mans natural potential and desire towards sin. However, Mr. Antolic’s fictional work only uses common sense to define right from wrong, in an effort to reach as many people as possible. You can find Anthony Antolic’s books on his authors page at www.amazon.com/author/anthonyantolic I recommend he work because it is tasteful family entertainment that has a goal to encourage our youth to want to read. The Agenda book series is designed to address specific subjects such as bullying of ethics in the work place. I asked the middle aged author, what inspires the issue that he chooses as the theme for a book.
“Much of the time the issue that I choose stands out on its own, like bullying, who ever ethics in the work place came to me when a friend of mine got fired from his job and he did not see it coming. My friend had a real bad attitude about every thing and everyone around him. He used profane words between every other word and talked about people behind their backs. As a result even his friends didn’t want to work with him. This kind of behavior starts at a young age and if not corrected can become devastating to the individuals working relationships. I was reminded of this by a random phone call that I got while I was still polishing up Volume 2 of the Agenda book series. The man who called me asked me why a man who is trying to sell morality would text him from the number that was newly issued to my cell phone, calling him a ‘shithead,’ my only defense was that I had only had by new phone number for about two months. Any way the conversation reminded me of my friend and that or actions in your youth can come back to haunt you later.”
“Mr.Antolic, or should I call you Doctor?” I ask my get noting that he cringed when I said Doctor. “You do have a PhD in Cultural Anthropology, don’t you.”
“I don’t, in fact, I left school because of a lack of funds and finished my thesis as a road scalar. I never claimed to have a PhD in any thing because I don’t have the paper.”
I understood where Mr. Antolic was coming from, but I was holding a well written and well research 300 page Thesis in my hand that uses history, philosophy, physiology, and economics to show that there is a correlation between the American sterilization of public places from religion and a stead decline in American morality that lead to an economic collapse that could have been avoided. “OK, Mr. And not Dr. Antolic, this book the Road to Salvation Project, represent over ten years of your life. I don’t think any one would deny you if you did call your self a PhD.”
Mr. Antolic has dedicated his life to ensuring that our children have a strong moral foundation, so we as a country have a strong economy to look forward too. Broken Glass Publishing, as we talked about before, is looking for voice talent to narrate the fictional books for Audio. You can find out more about Anthony W. Antolic and Broken Glass Publishing at www.brokenglassonthestreet.com until next time I am Anthony Antolic here with My Self, giving you something to think about.
