If you’re a sandwich lover, then Denver will not disappoint your taste buds. Whether you are visiting or live and work here, you’ll love the any one of the sandwich shops listed below.
Check out my recommendations for the best sandwiches in Denver.
For vegetarians, one of the best veggie sandwiches I’ve had in Denver is the Roasted Vegetable from Masterpiece Delicatessen. It’s full of roasted vegetables with Manchego cheese and hummus. It comes on a crusty French baguette and is scrumptious!
There are multiple locations in Denver and Boulder, but my favorite sandwich here is their Italian sub. Stacked full of Italian meats and provolone cheese, get it on wheat with a side of potato salad!
This west Wash Park gem offers gourmet, artisan sandwiches. My favorite is the turkey with fig spread and greens. They have flavorful side salads like quinoa or potato. You may also love their steak sandwich on a crusty roll.
This sandwich shop is not far from the Country Club neighborhood on 6th. Their “Tapp” sandwich is one of my all time favorites–turkey, avocado, pepperoni and provolone with veggies. Mm!
With two locations in Denver, they offer plenty of ready-made sandwiches. My favorite is the Parisian sandwich which comes with shaved ham, brie and butter. It’s perfect with a green salad and wine for a weekend lunch!
This hotspot deli in downtown Denver is perfect for the work week lunch. They serve fresh Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. If you like traditional deli sandwiches, don’t miss their pastrami or reuben sammies!
They have a downtown and Cherry Creek location, so if you’re nearby, stop in and grab their fried egg sandwich–a perfectly fried egg on a kaiser roll with bacon, tomato, lettuce and onion! Ask for mayo and dijon mustard, too. Don’t forget the handcut fries here–even for breakfast, I have them add a side.
