The asymmetrical man thong is the newest type of bathing suit to make a splash, and to say it leaves little to the imagination would be an understatement.
Also dubbed the C-shape g-string bikini, a man essentially needs to say a prayer and keep his buttocks tightly clenched in order to keep the bathing suit on and the pouch secure. The bathing suit covers the man’s penis, wraps around his one hip, and gets tucked in between his butt cheeks in order to stay in place.
This bathing suit has been around for a bit of time, but it was recently thrown into the public eye thanks to a photo going viral of Bobby Norris from the show, “The Only Way is Essex,” and his boyfriend, Harry Derbidge, who were spotted wearing the bathing suits on the beach.
The g-strings are quite inexpensive, which isn’t particularly surprising considering how little fabric is needed to make them, and they come courtesy of the company, “JQK.” The asymmetrical man thong is available in a variety of colors including white, black, red, and blue.
The C-string is available from a variety of sellers and sites, including on Aliexpress.com for $3.71 in sizes medium, large, and extra large, and through seller Dreamy House via Amazon for $4.99 in sizes large, medium, and extra large. It’s also up for grabs through several other sellers, however, it appears as if they’re selling out, so if you’re looking for a medium blue here (28 to 30 inches in case you’re curious), you’ll have to wait, and the same goes for a large blue from here (31 to 33 inches), or a medium red from here. They’re comprised of 82 percent nylon and 18 percent Polyurethane, and they must be hand washed only in slightly cold water. The bikinis are sold in Asian sizes, so plan accordingly. The site states that if you’re buying from the United States or Europe, you should buy one size up.
So what are customers saying about the JQK g-string bikini? Kirk C. states, “Good concept needs work, not for average sized guys, I don’t recommend, even large is way too small! not worth the money…,” and Kory Davis explained, “It doesn’t support at all. I had to purchase string to run along the side to hold it up. It is made poorly and see through. I’m mad I bought two.”
Some towns aren’t particularly fond of the trend as one reviewer named Discordian explained along with a bit of a warning. He said, “Apparently the authorities in Ocean City, NJ feel that this is indecent and not appropriate for a family oriented beach town. And this after I spent a good chunk of coin on being professionally manscaped – way nicer than the guy in the photos in this ad. And I’m only 205 – it’s not like I’m one of those giant gut grandpas in speedos you see at every East Coast beach in the summer. So beware where you wear this item. It might fly on some fancy Mediterranean beach resorts, but not really in New Jersey. Oh… and it tends to come off when you’re body surfing so you run the risk of scratching up your junk on seashells if you do. I recommend you change in to a regular pair of trunks for that. I speak from experience.”
The images of men wearing these bathing suits are spreading across the Internet, but is it something you would wear?
