How many different shampoos, hair detox treatments, hair glazes, anti-aging creams, toners, digestion agents, and weight loss supplements do you have in your closet? Which life threatening disease do you or a family member have? Diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, obesity, cancer and many other life threatening diseases are all too common across America. So what do all these things have in common -a treatment. Well, of course there are treatments – but how about one treatment for all of the above? And not just one treatment, but a low cost NATURAL treatment.
In my family I don’t even know how many people have/had diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, obesity and cancer (unfortunately). It is because of all my family’s health concerns that my husband and I have been moving towards a more natural and green home. I recently found on numerous websites that Apple Cider Vinegar (AC V ) is used to treat or replace many different items, including: shampoos, hair detox treatments, hair glazes, anti-aging creams, toners, digestion agents, weightless supplements, Diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, obesity, and cancer.
There have been studies done that show ACV helps to lower glucose levels in people with type 2 Diabetes, as well as lowering cholesterol and blood pressure. It has also been thought that A CV can slow the growth or kill cancer growing cells. That’s amazing. Research is still being done for many of these things and more. You can go to www.webmd.com to look up more details on the medical aspect of things or just Google A CV.
As for the rest, I decided to test a few myself. I started with A CV as a weight l os s supplement. While still trying to lose the baby weight from 8months ago, I have been changing my eating habits (I won’t say diet). Along with my new eating habits I added A CV into the mix as I have read that it helps break down fat and suppresses hunger and cravings. I have to say this is true. It worked for me. I drank ACV once or twice a day (remember to dilute it), and the weight did come off. If I took it when I was hungry, I wasn’t within minutes. I had absolutely no desire to eat.
I also decided to try it as a shampoo/glaze. I had read that rinsing with it one a week will take the build up out of your hair and add shine. The only problem was some websites said yes to colored hair and others said no. I have semi-permanent color on my hair, but decided to try it since I was getting it done that week anyways. I mixed it with water and poured it on, rinsed it out. It most definitely made my hair soft and shiny, which is the result of removing the buildup. It did also strip some of my color bringing my natural gold highlights through my dark hair- BUT like I said I have semi-permanent from a box. I don’t know about permanent color because some people said it was fine for them. Try replacing one of your shampooing once a week with A CV .
Now, my favorite use for AVC is as a toner. I cannot stand all the toners from department stores that reek of alcohol. It is too strong and over powering it almost gags me. It is not good to breath in or put on your skin. I started with it on a cotton ball once or twice a week. The first time I used it, it immediately brought blood flow to my face giving me a natural glowing look. My skin also felt clean, smooth, and fresh. I loved it. I started using it every day. I put it in a small bottle , mixed with water, that gently sprays a mist over my face. My skin is great! Get rid of all the toxic toner garbage in your cabinet and try A CV !
People need to realize the medicine or pharmaceutical grade is not always necessary, though I am all for them when necessary. Do some research, don’t take my word for it and come to your own conclusion. This is mine: I think it’s time Americans look back to their roots…the natural ones J
