CrossFit has emerged as one of the best exercise regimens in existence today. Thousands of people around the globe participate in daily CrossFit exercises. This is the primary reason why you see many CrossFit advertisements on television and in popular magazines.
The popularity of this unique exercise regimen encouraged me to give it a try. I was interested in losing a few pounds. I also wanted to tone my muscles. I felt that CrossFit would be the ideal route for me to take.

What are the disadvantages of CrossFit?
CrossFit is exceptional, but it does have its flaws. It can be overwhelming for individuals who have not adhered to a routine exercise program for a long period of time. I hadn’t worked out for several years. My gym trainer made an attempt to bring me along gradually. I appreciated his efforts, but the exercises sent my body into shock. I was sore for a long period of time.
I noticed that some people participating in the CrossFit were under the impression that they would see results within a matter of days. The routine can give you the impression that you will see fast results, but they will only occur after several weeks have passed by. Unfortunately, some dropped out of the routine after a few days. It is imperative that you stick with the program until you get your desired results.
The strongman exercises were a big turn-off to me. I was not interested in trying to get a huge massive figure. I was only interested in losing a few pounds and getting an attractive muscle tone.
What are the advantages of CrossFit?
CrossFit will give you a total body workout. It will improve your flexibility, strength, and stamina. It is exceptional when it comes to developing your abdominal muscles. This is ideal for anyone who dreams of getting the infamous six-pack midsection.
I now understand why thousands of people enjoy CrossFit. It helped me lose 18 pounds over a period of four weeks. I am impressed with the overall results. My choice of trainer is my only regret. I should have selected someone who was more suitable for exercise novices.
I encourage anyone to give CrossFit a try. It is imperative that you choose a trainer who will train you at a slow pace if you haven’t exercised in a long time. You should also be patient. Good results will begin to surface within several weeks.
