Joe’s Crab Shack– 1210 Front St, Sacramento, CA 95814-3247-(916) 553-4249 Open Daily: Mon – Sat – 11:00am – Midnight- Sun – 10:00am – Midnight. Crazy atmosphere, fun for all ages from the little ones to the adults, the food is really good and the waiters are very attentive. There are toys on the ceiling and a giant shark in the middle of the room. We have been many times and I would have to say my favorite is any of the shrimp dishes. It is a great place for birthday parties or any get togethers. Sit outside on the balcony overlooking the Sacramento River for a wonderful view.
Boiling Crab– is located at 6910 65th St. #100, Sacramento, CA 95823 (916) 394-9166-Open Daily; Mon – Fri – 3:00pm – 10:00pm and Sat – Sun – Noon – 10:00pm. A must try for anyone who loves southern Cajun food. They have the most amazing crab and shrimp and the seasonings are out of this world. You get to choose the kind of spice you would like from very mild to very hot. The garlic fries are simply scrumptious.
Scott’s Seafood On The River– is located at 4800 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95822 (916) 379-5959 Open Daily; Breakfast Mon-Fri 6:30am-11:00am as well as Lunch Mon-Sun 11:00am-3:30pm and Dinner Mon-Sun 3:30-10:00pm. I suggest going for brunch. The food is wonderful all though it is ala carte. On the weekends, ask to be seated outside overlooking the water. The menu is vast and everything is so wonderful. It would be hard for me to say whether I like the Shrimp or the Clam Chowder both are simply amazing.
Pearl On The River– located at 1379 Garden Hwy, Sacramento, CA 95833- (916) 567-3275 Open Daily; Mon- Fri 11:30am-9:00pm and Sat – 5:30pm – 9:00pm – Closed Sunday. It was a wonderful atmosphere with Christian music playing low in the background and very peaceful. We were seated outside on the balcony at sunset which was so beautiful, very quiet and romantic. I love soup so a must try for me was the clam chowder and I was very pleased at how wonderful it was. For the main course we both got the Grilled Salmon it had the most amazing pineapple salsa on it. Both are must tries for anyone who loves soup and salmon.
The Virgin Sturgeon– located at 1577 Garden Hwy, Sacramento, CA 95833-(916) 921-2694 Open Daily-Call for hours. If you have never eaten on a boat then this is a must try. Ask for outside seating overlooking the Sacramento River. The waitresses are wonderfully attentive and the food was awesome. It was a beautiful evening when we went and my husband said the bloody Mary’s were the best he had ever had.
