I have long battled with skin problems like pimples, blackheads and stretch marks. During the summer season my skin gets oily, while in winters I suffer with dry skin. Even the light skin scrapes used to turn into prominent and ill-looking scratches. After a long time investigation about dry skin essentials, I got to know some easy to follow solutions and dry skin essentials. Let me take the opportunity of sharing a few of them here;
1. Skin Moisturizer:
Using a skin moisturizer at least twice a day is must. During the summers, a less oily lotion will be the perfect idea, and during winter season we can go with skin ointment and thicker moisturizing creams. If your skin problems go serious, then the best idea is to ask your skin expert for some moisturizing suggestions. Chances are there that the skin expert will suggestion you prescription-strength moisturizers, or may be the products containing lactic acid. The skincare lotions and creams with lactic acids soften your skin and remove the dead cells.
2. Mild Chemical Peels:
The mild chemical peels are ideal for the men and women with black spots and prominent pimples. If you have been suffering from keratosis pilaris, then a moisturizer containing urea can be of great help. On the other hand, the people with eczema can compress their skin with tropical moisturizing lotions and creams.
3. Taking Warm Showers:
Sometimes a warm shower (not the hot shower) can open your skin pores and retain its natural shine. During the shower, you can apply body wash moisturizers.
4. Healthy Diets:
Skin experts say the skin is the reflection of your diet, which means if you eat healthy foods your skin will look healthy and glowing. On the other hand, the individuals with unhealthy eating habits will suffer from skin sensitivity and dryness. The foods rich in fatty acids (such as walnut, flaxseed and fish meat) can positively contribute in making your skin shiny and beautiful. Sometimes coffee can also work best for your skin because it is a rich source of skin-friendly antioxidants.
5. No Caffeine Please:
Caffeine is one of the most common and major reasons of skin dryness and dehydration. I used to be a cappuccino addict. When I got to know its skin side-effects, I took two weeks to remove it from my life. Even those who are taking too much palpitations and insomnia will suffer from skin problems. I am sure you don’t want to count your name among them, so say a permanent goodbye to caffeine and addicted materials.
