Just add one teaspoon of ginger, to a cup of boiling water. Then, cover it and let it steep, for about 10 minutes. Strain it and drink at least three cups a day. To sweeten it, add some honey. Another option is to drink ginger ale or eat ginger raw. You can also take it in capsule form, or add it to a soup.
Acupressure helps relieve stomach discomfort and nausea. By applying pressure in your body, it will release neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters block other chemicals that cause you to feel sick. Just apply pressure to the inside of your wrist. Make sure you use your thumb and index finger. Hold it for 30 seconds or up to 5 minutes. Repeat this, on your other wrist. Peppermint tea is a great traditional remedy for nausea. It relaxes your stomach muscles and prevents cramping. Just add mint leaves to boiling water. Cover and steep it, for 5 minutes. To sweeten the tea, add a few drops of honey.
Deep breathing is an effective remedy for nausea. Just inhale slowly through your nose. Then, exhale through your mouth. After five minutes, you should feel much better. Repeat this daily, until you are completely relieved from nausea.
