Keeping a daily exercise routine, can be challenging. You may start out very enthusiastic and end up exhausted. It is normal to feel unmotivated at times. However, you don’t have to stay in that mode.
If you are unmotivated, you are not hopeless. There are ways that you can stay motivated. Here are a few ways below:
Set Your Goal And Post It
When setting a goal, make sure it is realistic. Once you set your goal, post it. Write it or print it out in big letters. Make sure your goal is simple. For example, “Exercise 30 mins Daily,” is a simple goal. Post it on your home and work computer. Also, post it on your refrigerator. This will help you stay focused. Consider posting a picture of the size you want to achieve.
Schedule A Workout Time
Try to schedule at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. It could be either early in the morning or late at night. You could also workout, while the kids are napping. It is important to take the initiative to workout. It will help you to be more efficient throughout the day. You will also be more energetic. Write it down on your calendar and arrange it around other important things. You can also put it into your phone as a reminder.
Keep Track Of Your Workouts
Keep track of your workouts in a journal. Write down the time and the types of exercises you completed. Also, write down how you felt before and after exercising. Post your goals on Facebook. Your friends could be your biggest motivation and cheerleaders. They can also help keep you accountable to your workouts.
