Earning some extra income is always nice, especially when it can be very simple and choosing a way to earn that extra money from something that is easy and you enjoy. Although you have to be very careful with choosing to make money online, here are some things that I have tried. Some have worked for me, some haven’t, but they might work for you.
Inbox Dollars is a website that allows you to earn cash by simply reading e-mails, taking surveys, searching the internet, listening to music online, playing games, printing and using coupons, and more. It takes time and adds up very slowly, only earning 2 cents per e-mail, 1 cent per every two internet searches, 1 cent per 10 minutes of listening to music, 10 cents per every 10 minutes of music listened to, but it does add up. The surveys I have taken have been anywhere from 50 cents to $2, but it works for me. I have so far earned a total of $93.93 with this website.
Send Earnings is the sister site of Inbox Dollars, and is relatively the same website. This website was discovered through an internet search, and so far I have earned $26.44. It takes a little more time for your earnings to add up with this website, but money is money, no matter how long it takes.
Cash Crate is another website where you earn cash by completing tasks online. You can earn 1 cent by searching the web, 3 cents just for clicking on the daily check in link, or a percentage of cash back for shopping online. This website also offers points which you can redeem for gift cards, or you can use these points to play a game called “crates” which uses 5 points and you get to choose a crate. You can win anywhere from 3 cents to $1000, but so far the highest amount I have received with this game is $5. I have earned a total of $29.48 with this website.
Ebates is an online shopping website. It has links to several different online retailers to choose from and gives you a percentage of cash back for how much you spend at each retailer. I know, this way you have to spend money in order to earn any money, but if you are going to be shopping online for something anyway, this is a great way to go, because you will end up saving a little more money in the end. My total earnings from online shopping has resulted in $39.88.
If you have many things that you no longer use, or wear (clothing), then Ebay is the perfect website for you. You can sell your used items online, to real people, and set the prices at whatever you want them to be. In a way, it’s like an online garage sale. So far I haven’t had any luck selling anything on Ebay, but I do have a few friends that have been very successful. I believe it’s all in the way your word your description, as well as what you are selling.
As all of you here on Yahoo Voices know, writing articles is a great way to earn money online. I enjoy writing, and find it simple to write an article or two per day. I still get an excited feeling every time I see an e-mail saying I have a payment offer. It’s a great way to earn a little extra income doing something that I love. With enough effort and time spent on writing, I believe I could turn writing into a part-time, if not full-time job. Unfortunately, my schedule has my writing time more limited currently.
Keeping a Blog
Something I have tried doing is keeping a blog. I have a strong interest in American Sign Language and hope to one day become an interpreter, but until that time comes, I like to stay in practice by signing the lyrics to songs. You can add advertisements to your blog, and if people decide they are interested in the ad and click on it, you will earn some money this way. The only thing I don’t like about this, is you don’t get paid until you reach $100, so it takes a long time.
I have had relatives do this in the past. I tried to get into it, but I have had a hard time finding a legitimate place to become a mystery shopper. However, if you are able to find the right place, you can choose assignments that you would be going to do anyway, such as getting your hair cut, and then you technically are getting paid for something you needed to do.
One of my friends told me about Fiverr, which is a website where you choose a service to provide, and if other people like your service, they will pay you $5 to help them. I am a little skeptical about this, and have yet to try it, partially because I’m not sure of what to do. However, there are a lot of people on here providing services, and everything only costs $5.
Stock Photography Websites
This is something new I came across today. These are websites where you take pictures and upload them to the website, then you get a commission every time someone downloads your photograph. I love taking pictures everywhere I go, so this will be something I will be sure to try out.
