Chip Kelly who was born on November 25, 1963, in Dover, New Hampshire. He is the Head Coach for the Philadelphia Eagles and been in the NFL since 2013. He, previously, never coached in the NFL in any capacity.

Chip Kelly played football, ice hockey and basketball at Manchester Central High School in New Hampshire where he played Quarterback for the football team.
Chip Kelly attended University of New Hampshire where he played Defensive Back on the football team and graduated with a degree in Physical Education in 1990.
Chip Kelly first coaching job was in 1990 at Columbia University where he coached the freshman football team and was the secondary and special teams coach. The following year he was promoted to the varsity team and coached the outside linebackers and the Strong safeties.
Chip Kelly in 1992 left Columbia University to coach at his alma mater as the running backs coach but only stayed a year before leaving for John Hopkins University to become their defensive coordinator.
Chip Kelly only stayed a year at John Hopkins and returned to the University of New Hampshire where he spent the next twelve years coaching the running backs, the offensive line and finally becoming their offensive coordinator from 1999-2006.
Chip Kelly after the 2006 college season went to the University of Oregon and became their Offensive Coordinator. In 2009 he was promoted to be the Oregon head coach.
Chip Kelly coached Oregon to 4 BCS games: The 2010 Rose Bowl, The 2011 BCS National Championship Game, the 2012 Rose Bowl and The 2013 Fiesta Bowl.
From 2009 to 2013, Chip Kelly won three consecutive Conference Championships, A conference Division Title, and two consecutive BCS games after beating #5 ranked Kansas in the Fiesta Bowl in 2013.
Chip Kelly became the Head Coach for the Philadelphia Eagles on January 16, 2013. He is one of three coaches in the NFL that has total power when it comes to the team’s roster. The other two head coaches who have this much power in the NFL is Seattle Seahawks, Pete Carroll and New England Patriots Bill Belichick.
Chip Kelly once sent a check to a disappointed fan who traveled to Idaho to watch the Oregon Duck’s lose 19-8. The fan wanted his money back so Chip Kelly sent him a check for $439, the exact amount that the fan paid to see Oregon Ducks lose. The fan never cashed the check and sits in a frame as a piece of sports memorabilia.
