WWE is a mix between fantasy and reality. Sometimes it is difficult to make a difference between these two, especially after the WWE decides to continue the rivalries via Twitter. After all, technology has helped us to change some things in life. In this article I will talk about how the WWE plan on rivalry continuations in Twitter is a good decision.
Twitter has being the behind the scenes continuation of rivalries. There are a lot of wrestlers that make wars between them using the 140 characters social network. For example: before Batista returned to the WWE he was writing Tweets against Del Rio, and Del Rio was doing the same. There was a Twitter war between these two. Of course the rivalry ends after Batista pinned Del Rio with a Powerbomb. Paige and Cameron have been doing the same via Twitter. Cameron has insulted Paige and Paige say to her that she is an immature and that she has to respect the rookies. This is a great way to expand the rivalry because people can participate of their rivalry and the WWE can know the interest the WWE Universe has about certain rivalries. There is also the rivalry between Summer Rae and Layla. It is interesting because we can have knowledge of who the fans prefer so is a free way for the company to know their fans.
In conclusion, WWE should do the same with major superstars because then the rivalry will continue and be more interesting that it is. It would be great to have an appetizer before waiting another week for the next episode of Raw. After all, the WWE has benefit for their technology integration because it receives more tweets than any major sport so it is convenient to continue to emphasize rivalries via Twitter and make the fans take control in the company decisions.
