I’ve driven past this restaurant a number of times en route to work and play. Each time I’ve chanted on impulse “Woo Woo’s!” Okay, I’ll admit that I really like the name and I’m a really eccentric guy. Nonetheless, I had to try this place because I eat a lot and I really like the name, only this time I like the name more than I like to eat.
So I stopped by and gave the place a try. I ordered a mini-tip/wing combo… Woo Woo!
Okay, I got carried away there.
The food was satisfying and tasty. Was it the very best barbeque I’ve ever had? No. Did it satisfy my hunger? Yes. I won’t go through a 1-10 scale rating system or anything like that, but it was pretty good. The only downside is that the barbecue didn’t taste like it was smoked in a traditional, hickory smoker. Baked or not baked I still give it a thumbs up.
Woo Woo’s is a nice bbq joint for grabbing a bite to eat on the way to work or on the way to consuming a large amount of beer (be sure to have a designated driver). They give you a generous portion of food for a reasonable price. Just don’t plan on dining in. It’s strictly a hole in the wall-carry-out restaurant, so grab your food and go.
