Whole Life Chicken Pet Treats are dehydrated chicken(freeze dried), pure and simple. The package states that it is made in the USA and that the chicken comes from the USA. When you open that bag of Whole Life Chicken Pet Treats you will find very light weight pieces of white meat chicken. They will break apart easily so you can use any size you like
How to feed them
The treats can be fed out of the bag dry or they can be re-hydrated by placing them in a bowl of warm water. It only takes a few seconds to rehydrate a small piece. When re-hydrated it looks and tastes like boiled chicken. You could seriously not tell the difference. It tastes and smells as though you just cooked it. I would suggest re-hydrating them so that it is a more natural treat for your pet.
How much to feed
Dogs: 1-6 depending on the size of your dog. Toy dogs 1-2, Med sized dogs 2-4 and Large dogs 4-6 pieces.
Cats: 1-4, small cats 1-2 large cats 2-4pieces.
The treats come in a re-closeable plastic package 4oz should last you a month or so for 1-2 pets.
I paid $15.99 which is a little pricey but it is really convenient so it’s worth it to me
What do my animals think?
Both my dog and cat are wild about these treats. If I so much as go in the cabinet where the treats are I have both of them at my feet….well the kitty on the counter and the dog at my feet. I can barely get them re hydrated before my cat tries to grab them from me. Luckily it does not take long. I think these are their favorite treat. Good for hiding a pill if you have to do that. I also like that I can give them some fresh meat without cooking up a whole chicken breast. These would also be convenient for traveling.
