Memorial Day Observance
One of the most thoughtful Memorial Day Events that will take place is the City of Jacksonville Memorial Day Observance. This event takes place on Memorial Day, May 25 at 8:00 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Wall. The Navy Band Southeast’s Ceremonial Band will perform. Several patriotic pieces will be performed, as well as several marches and acknowledgements will take place.This event is free to the public.
Music lover’s won’t want to miss Memorial Day Weekend in Jacksonville, May 22-25. It will be a festival full of music, food and fun. This year’s festival will take place in the middle of downtown. The heart of the city will be transformed into another world as concerts will take place on four separate stages placed strategically downtown. Jacksonville Beach Moonlight Movie
Where can you go enjoy a movie out in the open night air? On May 23 at 5:00 p.m. Jacksonville Beach’s, Sea Walk Pavilion is hosting their weekly moonlight movie. Come early to grab a seat with your family and nestle down as you enjoy watching a movie under the summer evening air. Movie will be presented on a large screen. Florida Strider’s Track Club 5K
Maybe you and the family enjoy staying active together. On Memorial Day, May 26, at 8:00a.m., you can participate in a 5K run sponsored by Florida Strider’s Track Club.
