If you visit the beach often, or plan on taking a trip to the beach or waterpark, you will want to take a look at the advice in this article. Often times when we go to the beach or waterpark, we worry about our valuables being stolen, such as our phones, camera, money, and jewelry. There are clever ways to hide your valuables when you visit places like the beach and waterpark. Continue reading below for ways to hide your valuables.
In a diaper
Even if you don’t have a baby, borrow a diaper from a friend or family member who does. Hiding your valuables in a diaper that appears to be dirty will throw the thieves off. They won’t take a dirty diaper. You can take your valuables, place them in the diaper, and then roll the diaper up to make it look like a dirty diaper.
In a Chip or Cookie Bag
Another great place to hide your valuables is in a chip or cookie bag. Before you make your trip, make sure that you save that old chip or cookie bag that is empty. Use a wipe or a rag and wipe the bag out. When you go to the beach or waterpark, you can place your valuables in the bag and use a bag clip to clip the bag. No one wants a used bag of chips or cookies.
In a Soft Side Cooler
Take an extra cooler and place your valuables in it. Of course, don’t place any ice or drinks in there. Buy one of the soft side coolers that are small in size. You can get these coolers for a dollar or two and it is a great way to hide stuff.
The above three ways will help protect your valuables and keep thieves from running off with your stuff. With the diaper idea, you could even carry a few diapers and put them in a grocery sack to make it appear like it is a sack of dirty diapers. Have fun on your trip!
