There are two large water parks located in the general Sacramento area. One is located in Sacramento and the other is located in Roseville. Here’s a look at these two water parks.
1. Golfland Sunsplash in Roseville.
Golfland Sunsplash is located at 1893 Taylor Road in Roseville, California. This water park is located in the newer part of Roseville and is not to far from the Roseville Galleria. This particular water park gets a new water slide every couple of years which make it a very up-to-date park. Besides being a water park this park also has an arcade and miniature golf. There are many different price points for the admission to Sunsplash. From 11:00 am to 6:30 pm is when general admission is valid, which is $28.99 per person. There are also discount tickets at $22.99 for sale for seniors and for those who are under 48″ tall. From 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm admission for all is just $19.99 with no additional discounts accepted at this time. “Nite Slide” happens at night from 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm. This is a very unique experience being able to ride water slides at night time. “Nite Slide” admission is $19.99 per person. There is also a package available as well. This package is $36.99 per person and includes admission to Sunsplash during the day, one round of miniature golf, one game of laser tag, and one race on the go-karts. 2. Raging Waters in Sacramento.
Raging Waters is located at 1600 Exposition Blvd. in Sacramento, California. This water park is located at Cal Expo. Cal Expo is a very famous, and very large, venue in California that hosts the California State Fair every year. This water park was originally called WaterWorld and many people still refer to it as such. Raging Waters has many different types of water slides for those of all ages. There are water slides that can seat 2-4 people per raft and there are also slides that require no rafts. In addition to slides there are also themed areas with a children’s water park play area as well. This is a very large water park and can accommodate very large groups of people.
Raging Waters has only two different types of admission. For $31.99 you can get general admission. For just $10 more you can buy a season pass to Raging Waters. It’s worth it to get the season pass because it comes with two admission tickets that your friends can use. Both types of admission also comes with California State Fair admission.
