So you cannot get out of bed in the morning because you were awake all night, and you feel like you are on a merry-o-round and cannot get off. First you have to find out what is keeping you awake at night. Once that is solved you should be getting a better night’s sleep and it should be easier to get out of bed in the morning. Some of us are just morning people; however, some of us are night owls. Maybe the answer is to find a job that does not require getting up so early.

Use your smart phone instead of an alarm clock. Set your smart phone to play a song that you enjoy. It does not matter what the song is as long as it is something that touches you. I have found drinking a glass of water, not ice cold but cold gives me the little bit of energy to start the day. Another idea to make the wake-up easier is the scent of cinnamon. Put a bottle of cinnamon scented lotion by the bed and the first thing in the morning rub just a little on your hands. https://www.FamilyManager.com. If you are lucky enough to have a cook, have the cook bake some cinnamon rolls and start the coffee. Oh, that has not been proven by any scientific research; however it does work. It gets my husband out of bed faster.
