There is nothing like a unique personalized graduation gift for a close friend, or a loved family member. With graduation season quickly approaching it is now time to start planning and thinking about what gift you want to give someone. Below you will find several ideas to help you get started.
Framed Inspirational Quotes
Start by writing down some inspirational words of wisdom that you can share with them. If you can’t think of anything inspirational to share, then perhaps you can do a Google search to find something. The key is to find something that will be encouraging to them. Once you find the quote, have it put on specialty paper, and then frame it. You will really want to put some thought into the frame as well. A simple frame that is not too big would be the perfect fit.
Photo Canvas Poem
If you have a teenager, or a young adult that really enjoys poems, than perhaps you can have their favorite poem framed. What really adds a special touch is to put the poem on top of a picture of the graduate. There are shops that you can visit to have this done. Or you can do a search online and figure out a way to do this yourself. Either way it will be a nice personalized gift.
Class Memory Boxes
A memory box is basically just a wooden box with pictures on each side. What will make the memory boxes more unique is that you can have photos from their school years on the box. You can start with one younger picture of them in elementary school, then middle school, and high school. Try to find some candid shots of them, which they are sure to like.
Money Filled Tissue Box
This is one of my favorite gifts. The money tissue box is a gift that just keeps on giving. You can use a nice wooden or plastic tissue box holder, which has a small opening. Then you will need to create a money roll. This means you first decide how much money you are planning to give. Then break down those amounts into small bills. Then you are going to tape the ends together to make it into a money roll. Just keep rolling and taping until you get all of the money. Then you will need to slip the bottom of the roll into the tissue box, and leave one of the bigger bills hanging out the top. Then when they open the gift they will need to keep pulling on the money roll until they reach the end. This is a fun gift for a graduate of any age.
