One downside to being a mini golf lover living in the pacific northwest is our abundance of rain. Outdoor courses just aren’t as profitable in such climates. There is however enough demand to make it profitable for one great outdoor course to thrive. The other courses that makes this list will be an indoor courses for two reasons, one being that there just aren’t many outdoor courses in this area, and two it gives you the best option for mini golfing during the rain.
Camp Putt Adventure Golf Park
In my opinion, the best option for miniature golf in Eugene (and the whole county) is Camp Putt Adventure Golf Park. It is located at 4006 Franklin Blvd Eugene, OR. This course is outdoors and features not one but two full 18 hole courses. This is a real miniature golf place. One round for an adult is going to run you $6 with discounts for the usual kids, seniors, groups and you can host parties here and rent out space for your group. This place is a sight for soar eyes having been to some subpar courses in my day, this course was extremely clean and well kept and you can tell beauty is a main focus of the business. The holes all have great and imaginative obstacles. This is definitely the premiere miniature golf course in Eugene but don’t take my word for it, Yelp reviews are currently at 4.5/5.
The next best option for some putt putt in Eugene called Putters which is located at Eugene Game Central located at 156 Hwy 99 N Eugene, OR. This place may not be center itself around mini golf as does Camp Putt (You will also find bowling, arcade, laser tag, a sports bar) but they do a great job of creating a fun indoor (rain friendly) atmosphere and still maintain a great 18 hole course. The course prices are similar to that of Camp Putt and it also boasts a good Yelp scores at 4/5.
Now those are really the only courses you will find in Lane County, but if you can make a short drive to either Portland or Beaverton, you can go to one of the Glowing Greens locations where they offer 18 holes all under blacklight for a very cool and unique experience. All the holes utilize bright colors that glow vibrantly under the blacklights. The standard adult price is $10, but the added blacklight experience makes it well worth it, and this course stays open later than the other courses, until 10pm on weekdays and 12pm on weekends and also maintains very high online reviews. The Portland location is at 509 SW Taylor St, Portland, OR and the Beaverton location is at 3855 SW Murray Blvd, Beaverton, OR.
What are you waiting for, get out there and play some mini golf!
