If you are in Cambridge, Massachusetts and are a hungry vegan, consider going to one of the restaurants in the city that specializes in veganism.
Here are the five best vegan restaurants in Cambridge:
1. Life Alive
Address: 765 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA
One of the better restaurants that you should go to is Life Alive. This restaurant is located in a convenient section of the popular city, as it is close to the Central Square public transportation station. I would personally recommend the wraps and tasty soup. One drawback is some of the dishes are expensive, but the food at the restaurant is delicious and organic.
2. Veggie Galaxy
Address: 450 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA
Another restaurant in Cambridge that I would recommend is Veggie Galaxy. Located near the Middle East Restaurant and Nightclub and the MIT Museum, Veggie Galaxy offers a wide variety of great vegan food in a very comfortable environment. If you are a fan of breakfast food, then you should try their French toast with vegan cream cheese.
3. Veggie Planet
Address: 47 Palmer Street, Cambridge, MA
Veggie Planet is another excellent vegan restaurant. It is conveniently located near Harvard Square and the Harvard Art Museums. Also, Veggie Planet attracts many people for both lunch and dinner, so you should try to go to the restaurant at a non-peak time. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not take reservations. I should also note that their peanut curry has received great reviews, including on Yelp.
4. O2 Vegan Café
Address: 1001 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA
The O2 Vegan Café restaurant has some of the friendliest staff in the entire city. The café recently expanded its dining area, which is a great sign for the future of this popular place to eat. I will also note that the café serves delicious smoothies. You should stop by if you are in hungry and in the area.
5. The Elephant Walk
Address: 2067 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA
Also located on Massachusetts Avenue, The Elephant Walk is the last restaurant on my list. Along with a location on Beacon Street in Boston, The Elephant Walk is a perfect place to go if you are a vegan visiting Cambridge. The restaurant has some interesting lunch and dinner dishes, including some from Cambodia. Lastly, The Elephant Walk has menus for wine, cocktails, and beer and cider.
