The Original Wisconsin Ducks is a wonderful boat ride that takes you through some of the prettiest scenery in Wisconsin. It is located in the Wisconsin Dells in the center of all the activity.
If you decide to take a ride on the Original Wisconsin Duck ride you will have fun. You get to sit through the entire ride that takes you from downtown Wisconsin Dells through the river on an hour long tour. You sit down but the seats are small so you will probably be crowded. Once the ride starts you no longer notice you are crowded since it is fun.
Once you are seated in your Duck the fun starts. You can watch the wild rides that are across the road from where the Ducks start. You can hear the people on these rides scream as they shoot up and down in the air.
Once your Duck ride starts you go on the road and then into the woods. The woods are close to the vehicle on both sides so keep your hands and arms inside the Duck. You will plunge into the river and you just might get splashes so wear clothes that you do not mind getting wet.
The Duck will take you along the river where you will see some beautiful dells, wildlife and trees. It is fun if you get to see some ducks while you are in a Duck.
Eventually you will get back on land and drive through some very pretty woods with wildflowers and cliffs. You will actually drive through a very tight cliff area where there are inches between you and the bluffs.
The Duck will go back into the water with a splash that could leave the floor of the Duck soaked. You will need to pick your feet up or let your shoes get wet. The choice is yours but I chose to pick my feet up. The water soon goes away and you can put your feet back down. The people who are sitting in the back seat will probably get wet. If you don’t want to get wet sit up front near the driver.
Dress for the weather when you ride on a Wisconsin Original Duck since there is no heat or air conditioning on these vehicles. You will feel the wind in your hair so don’t wear a hat or have one that does not blow away. If you would like to know more you can go to http://www.wisconsinducktours.com/.
