Think of her… and tell her!
If you’re sitting at work, take a minute to send her a brief message. It doesn’t have to be much, just a little note to let her know that you’re thinking about her. Be sure to switch it up every now and then. Instead of a text message, try an e-mail. It’s a fun change of pace to see a familiar name pop up in e-mail as opposed to the normal spam.
While you’re out and about, pick up a little something that you know she likes. Grab a single rose at a gas station or drug store. That snack you know she loves? Surprise her with it one day (but don’t overdo it). Maybe there’s a knick-knack she saw once and wanted or something she said. Women drop hints of what they want often enough that even the most bone-headed guy will pick up on one or two of them.
This one involves a little more thought and planning. Does she have a stressful day more often than not? Take her out for the evening. If there are kids in the picture, make sure there’s a babysitter on board. This date doesn’t have to be extravagant. Dinner at a favorite restaurant and driving around talking one on one can be a game-changer after a long day. I hesitate to say go to the movies because she wants to spend time with you, not sitting next to you silently. Get creative. Go somewhere you know she loves that can just drain the stress of the day away.
Remember, the key to all of this is simple: Think of her!
