With all the donuts and pretty cocktails coming through my Instagram feed, sometimes I need a little extra motivation to eat healthy. To balance it out, I follow a few female foodies who post plenty of gorgeous food photos that are healthy too! Following these gals on Instagram has inspired me to pick up a juicer, try a new veggie and think about where your food is actually coming from.
@gwynethmademedoit Andrea is a blogger on a mission to feed her family real, whole foods. She’s very educational and honest about her posts, and you can tell she’s not trying to be preachy about any of her choices. She regularly posts her Costco, farmer’s market and CSA hauls, so you can get an idea of what she is buying. I am always inspired by how she changed her habits without cutting out meat, wheat or dairy. I love her recipes on her blog, too. Find the link in her Instagram profile.
@eating_whole Lauren has a very approachable way of clean eating. She shares her meal plans and meal prep days (and shares her exercises, too). She also has a few tasty looking clean treat recipes, like garbanzo bean cookies and chewy no-bake cookie dough balls. In also interested in her toddler clean eating posts, as I think healthy eating should begin from the start! Her blog is also informative (link in her profile).
@eat_to_thrive This gal’s food posts are just plain pretty to look at. I don’t get a ton of daily meal inspiration, as she is a strict vegan, but its fun to look at here beautiful fruit and veggie combinations. She has inspired me to try dragonfruit and other exotic produce.
Sometimes you need a reminder that eating right is easy and can be done. Following these Instagrammers will help you keep your clean eating goals on track.
