If you are planning to host a Easter lunch or dinner or simply looking for Easter crafts to do with your kids or yourselves, here are some wonderful crafts that are bunny themed and perfect for Easter party:
Bunny shaped wreath – I love greeting guests into my house with wreaths that match the season or the occasion. For Easter, you can try making a wreath that is shaped as a bunny. All you need is two circles of wreaths made of sticks, one larger than the other. Hot glue or tie the two circles together. Then take two small oval shaped wreaths made out of sticks for ears and glue them on top of smaller wreath to form bunny ears. Your bunny shaped wreath is ready. Now you can decorate the wreath as you like it. I love spring flowers and just thread some fake flowers and leaves on to the wreath. Hang this outside your door and your guests would just get into the Easter mode as they enter your house.
Bunnies out of TP – One fun craft that kids can do for Easter is make cute little bunnies out of toilet paper roll or just any regular paper towel roll. Just take empty paper towel rolls and paint them white. If you are using toilet paper roll then the length is fine, if you are using tissue paper roll, then just cut it in half. Once the white paint dries, just see if you need to repaint it to get a solid white. If you are reluctant to have kids mess with paint, you can just glue white paper all around the roll. Cut some white paper into elongated ovals and some pink paper in same shape but smaller. These form the bunnies’ ears. Take two white ovals and glue the pink smaller ovals inside the white ones. Glue the two ears inside the paper roll. On the backside, you can glue couple of cotton balls to form the tail. That’s it, the bunny is almost ready. You just need to draw a cute little face on the front below the ears to form the bunny. This is an easy craft that kids can do with minimal assistance from grownups.
Easter Hat – You can make easy Easter hats for kids using very few things – white paper plates, scissors, some decorating stickers and glue. Just take the paper plates and in the center, draw two elongated ears in such a way that it is still attached to the plate. Cut them out carefully but do not cut away at the base of the ears. Cut out the remaining paper keeping the rim of the paper plate intact. That will form the brim of the hat. You can now straighten the ears to make them stand up. Your Easter hat is ready for decorations. You can decorate it as you like or let your kids go to town with it. The hats would sit perfectly on top of kids heads and give the perfect bunny ears as well.
