It takes the whole village (Preachers, teachers, parents who will work diligently and cooperatively working toward a common goal in making sure that no man, woman, or child be denied the spiritual and the secular privilege of reaching the highest level that they are capable of obtaining. Many students cannot be reached because of it and their level of education is dwarfed because of it.
The day of simple understanding is gone because of the world’s educational Philosophies. There are three institutions that were set up to impart knowledge to people and it is sad to say, but I think that they have failed to a large degree to reach those who were supposed to be the objects of knowledge imparted.
The first institution that many people depend on is the in the home. The second is the school and the third one is the church.
In the beginning of our civilization of course many people depended largely what they learned at home. What they heard, experienced, and what they were taught by parents. Then along came the church. It was mostly ineffective in the early days of its existence because of the gross unbelief in God that was prevalent in all of the world. The church had a very slow intellectual growth even though it possessed the knowledge that all of the world needed. Then came along the school that was setup to teach the preachers to read and study correctly the word of God. Of course I am talking about the educational institution; academy, college, university; seminary; Alma mate.
A preacher is one who preaches, especially a minister of the gospel. There are many names by which they are known and called.
All preachers are teachers in some way or the other, but, all teachers are not preachers. The pastor/preacher counsels young couples about marital concerns most gospel preachers are known as bishops, pastors, teachers, ministers, parsons, clergymen, clergy women, members of the clergy, priests, imam, rabbi, men/women of the cloth, men/women of God, clerics, churchmen, churchwomen, apostles, evangelists and prophets; informal reverend, padre, Holy Joe, sky pilot.
And secular teachers of course are the ones who teach in the schools. They have the job of imparting knowledge to the students who sit and receive knowledge to use for the betterment of themselves, family, and society. They teach people to be responsible in living and making the most of the knowledge given to them.
Then we notice that what a parent is : A parent is mother, father, birth/biological parent, progenitor; adoptive parent, foster-parent, step-parent, guardian; literary begetter. All of these who are in the role of a Parent have the responsibility of those who parent young children to raise, bring up, look after, take care of, rear. They are responsible to God in getting their children educated spiritually and secular so they can be the best persons that they can be. They must raise them not to be a problem but to be a contributor of good to the community in which they reside.
And finally, the unreachable, I am referring to those who are beyond the capacity of someone to attain or achieve something and make something of themselves. I believe that many of those who fail in life can be made to go from a failing status in life to being an achiever. They can reach or attain (a desired objective, level, or result) by effort, skill, or courage, but it takes the whole village (Preachers, teachers, parents who will work diligently and cooperatively working toward a common goal in making sure that no man, woman, or child be denied the spiritual and the secular privilege of reaching the highest level that they are capable of obtaining. Amen, amen, and amen!
