One of the hottest love-to-hate celebrities of 2009 was Heidi Montag – star of the MTV reality series, The Hills. When she wasn’t making us gag with her totally upstaged photo-ops with beau Spencer Pratt, she was making our ears bleed with her attempts at recording music.
After The Hills
After marrying, divorcing, then re-marrying her long term, gag-worthy other half Spencer Pratt, Heidi decided her career in reality television wasn’t over. In 2011, she took on a role in the VH1 Series Famous Food , in which she played the role of a restauranteur competing with other celebrities for a partnership in the restaurant they opened. That year also marked Montag’s film debut as Kimberly, in the comedy Just Go with It.
In 2013 Heidi and Spencer headed across the sea to star in the British Version of Celebrity Big Brother, eventually losing the show. The couple later launched The Speidi Show, a networked improv narrative game where players tweeted ideas for an imaginary show via twitter. As a shock to many, the game was a hit. In spite of the show not actually existing, the twitter feed generated a lot of interest among followers.
Heidi’s final televised appearance was in the television special for the E! network titled: After Shock: Heidi & Spencer, in which the starlet discussed her plastic surgeries.
Where Is She Now?
Although it has been some time since the California native has taken on any new projects – Never fear, Heidi fans. She is never far from the limelight and is still popular fodder for paparazzi and celebrity gossip magazines. Heidi, along with her partner in crime Spencer, were most recently caught staging a reunion with their former Hills co-star – Brodie Jenner. No rumors if there’s another show in the works or if she will, once again, grace us with her singing.
