For this week of my Super Smash Bros. 4 update, I will talk about the so far announced stages, my opinion on them, and what I think should also be added.
With Super Smash Bros. 4 coming out in the winter for the Wii U, it may be a little while, but the 3DS version will be out this summer, so a lot is known about this game, but still so much is unknown. The stages are what make the game so entertaining, so let’s discuss the so far announced stages for the Wii U.
Section 1: Announced Stages
Battlefield (Wii U), Boxing Ring (Wii U), Final Destination, Garden of Hope, Halberd, Mario Galaxy, Palutena’s Temple, Pilot Wings, Pyrosphere, Skyloft, Town and City, Wii Fit Studio, Wily Castle, Windy Hill, Pokémon X/Y Champion Room (unknown).
Section 2: My Opinion
Overall, the Wii U stages seem better than the 3DS version in my opinion. These stages show almost all of Nintendo’s franchises by having a stage from their game. I personally hope they make the temple stage a little smaller than it was on the Wii game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I also like how each stage will have its version of a final destination stage. This is far out, but I hope stages have gravity unique to them, like if the Mario Galaxy stage’s gravity would differ, for it is in space. But, as one pile I approve these stages and I think it will make Smash 4 a great game.
Therefore, Super Smash 4 will have many, both old and new stages in beautiful HD. This game looks amazing, but I wish the winter would come sooner to get the Wii U version faster, but at least we will have the 3DS version.
