Tremors or seizures https://www.healthcenteral.com
There are many of us who do not know the difference. In both cases the body shakes intensely. However, in tremors the whole body can shake or the hand, arm, or one or both legs shake. Also in tremors your mind is clear and you know what is going on around you. Tremors can affect your speech. In a seizure the person is not aware of what is going on and when it all over may have a blank look or may even not know they just had a seizure. The time during a seizure may even be lost to them.
There are three kinds of tremors; the first is what is called resting (static) tremors and this means the body is resting when these tremors start. After a little bit the tremors stop or are less when the affected part of the body is moved. The second is the type that is called Intention (kinetic) tremors. Those happen after an “intended” movement such as walking or writing or some kind of use of hands, arms, or legs. The third type is call anxiety (stress) induced tremors. This was how these were explained to me; some people who are under a lot of anxiety (or stress) can have a stroke or a heart attack, others who are under the same kind of anxiety (or stress) have seizure-like tremors. https://www.webmed.com
Simply reduce the anxiety or stress, you reduce the tremors. It is easier said than done. For some people it is like building blocks that stack one on top of another. For me it started (we believe) with an apartment fire. The next building block was being “homeless.” After the fire burned us out we had no place to live. The next building block is trying to go to school online and live with people you hardly know. Then there were things like money problems, and grandchildren living with us and each one of these building blocks was stacking up. After a while the body says STOP I have had enough. How does my writing fit into all of this? I write because it is a release for me. I have found that by writing my mind gets exercised and I can sleep better at night because my brain does not do what I call “go into overdrive”. Every bodies’ brain works a little different. If you are having stress induced tremors, than you have to find a way to exercise your brain. Read a book that you have been wanting to read, or exercise for a while, or take a walk in a park or along the beach.
