Fans who follow “The Bachelorette” know that spoilers are part of the fun. Rumors about who the favored contestant is or who is being sent home each are leaked often well in advance of the show actually airing. The series is filmed a couple of months in advance of the airing so it isn’t surprising that some details leak out before the finale airs.
For this season of “The Bachelorette” starring Andi Dorfman, not only have we learned who Andi picks but that she also proposes and he accepts! We also know that the couple has made plans to appear on another reality TV show – “Dancing with the Stars! The most interesting part of this news is that the couple will be competing against each other.
The website Hollywood Life reported on June 26 that Andi, like Sean Lowe and other “Bachelors” before her had been asked to appear on the dance competition show which will air its 19th season in the fall. She has allegedly agreed and will bring her fiancé along for the fun too! Spoilers ahead -we’re going to tell you who that is.
Dorfman began her journey for love as a contestant last season on “The Bachelor” featuring Juan Pablo Galavis. She made a name for herself when she rejected him and walked off the set after he behaved inappropriately. This season, Andi is whittling down the gaggle of ganders in exotic locations like Paris and Venice. With just a few weeks to go she is narrowing in on Mr. Right and rumor has it she has selected fellow Atlanta resident, Josh Murray.
Dorfman, 27 and her beau will compete against one another as Meryl Davis and Charlie White, the gold medalist Olympic ice dancers did last season on “Dancing with the Stars.” Since filming of “The Bachelorette” has already wrapped, Dorfman is said to be quietly preparing for her appearance on ‘DWTS’ while getting to know Josh better.
The former assistant district attorney of Fulton County, Georgia resigned from her job after initially requesting a leave of absence to do “The Bachelorette.” Many feel she resigned when the “Dancing with the Stars” offer came through. Her boss has no hard feelings and said he would welcome her back if ever she chose to return.
How do you think Andi will do on Season 19 of “Dancing with the Stars”? Is putting her in competition with her fiancé so soon after the engagement a good idea?
