Self-care can manifest in a number of ways. Be it through general hygiene, doing things that inspire you or just not partaking in unhealthy behavior self care is where survival turns into living. Laughter is truly the best medicine. In the beginning stages of healing you will most likely fake smiles and laughter. This act is a form of protection.
