Most High Heavenly Father and Almighty God
We come to you today in the name of our precious Savior, Jesus Christ, to pray for the once great nation of the United States.
We humble ourselves and pray that your mighty, perfect will is done. We further ask, Father, that you heal our country as we repent of our sins and that you touch the lost and the backsliders with your powerful Holy Spirit; convicting them of their sins, that they may be saved. Thank you, Lord for sending the Holy Spirit to us, as our comforter and teacher.
We lift up the unsaved, daily, during this important week, praying for the salvation of all nations and the leaders of all nations. We pray for those of other faiths, who do not know that Jesus is the true savior of all mankind.
We ask for a fresh outpouring of your Spirit throughout this country and across the entire earth, that many will be ready for your soon return. We ask that you hold back the darkness until all can learn of you and your blessed eternal salvation. We praise you and thank you for our salvation, provided by our savior, Jesus Christ.
We pray for the leaders of our government and ask that your Spirit moves on them as well; that they may repent and accept you as our true leader. If they refuse, Father, we pray that you replace them with godly Christians who will go about doing things Your Way. We pray that your will be done as we have learned that your way is always best and we thank you.
We ask that you convict all of wrongdoing in your eyes and stop them from turning to illicit and unholy relationships and the murder of innocents in the womb. We pray for the drunkards, drug addicts, revilers, liars and thieves, of whom many of us were before we came to you. We humbly ask Father, that all may come to a realization that you cannot withhold judgment if things do not change in the United States.
We pray that we are joining millions of other Christians during this seven days, for we know that when two or more are joined together, you will be there and demons are sent to flight. We thank you for your mercy and for your grace. We ask these things in the Holy name of Jesus.
