In downtown Red Wing, Minnesota there is a charming historical train station on Levee Street. This train station is still in use with Amtrak using it to drop off and pick people up at. There are nice restrooms at this train station but there is no ticket office, pay phone or ATM. You will not find any Wi-Fi here since it is small. The amenities are few but the history is nice. Inside the train station you will find pictures and information about this train station. It is a small train station that is not very busy so you could be alone here as you wait for a train. Even on a busy day this station never gets very crowded.
If you have time and you are hungry there are a few places to eat within a walking distance. There is also a very nice hotel called the St. James where you can spend the night it you need to.
