Simply seasoned with fresh basil and the flavor of the diced tomatoes, the remaining part of this dish includes two different cheeses. Serve on top of some pasta, add a vegetable and you have a complete meal in just minutes.
Garden Skillet Supper – This dish will take you all of 25 minutes prep/total time and actually includes your three food groups. Other than preparing the rice in a separate pot your meat and vegetables is prepared in the skillet and served on top of the rice. You could add some fruit on the side and it would not take but a minute to include it, leaving this a quick and easy recipe from stove top to table top. When making this during the summer months, if you have a vegetable garden, this is an inexpensive meal using what you are growing.
Italian Chicken Skillet Supper – This recipe was created by Barbara Lento of Houston, Pennsylvania who posted it with Taste of Home and comments how the Romano cheese, sliced vegetables and pine nuts jazz up this saucy chicken dinner. Claimed to be easy and one your family will surely love this recipe will take you 30 min. of prep/total time. Again, if you want to save even more time, you can use precooked chicken breasts, which also come already cut or sliced. Taco Skillet Supper – Although this recipe takes a short 10 min of preparation it does take one hour to bake so make sure to take this into consideration.
