It’s time for some tangy snacks for the afternoon and the picnic outings. Potatoes are favorites of kids and others alike. Do you want a new recipe with potatoes? Try this new form of potato.
Potatoes – 3 or 4 boiled
Bread slices – as many as we want
Onion – 1 chopped
Green chilies – 2
Coriander leaves – 10 chopped
Garam masala – ¼ teaspoon
Cumin seeds powder – ½ teaspoon
Red chili powder to taste
Salt to taste
Baking powder – 2 pinch
Baking soda – 1 pinch
Grated cheese – 50 g
Bleached flour – 1 teaspoon
Butter – 1 teaspoon
Milk – ½ cup
Salt to taste
Grated cheese from 1 small piece
Make white sauce.
Put butter in a heated pan and fry flour in it.
Add milk. Make sure that lumps are not formed.
Add salt and pepper.
Mix all ingredients, except bread, with boiled potatoes.
Cut the slices into round shapes.
Put the potato mixture in a round shape and make a hole in the center.
Coat it with white sauce.
Coat it inside the hole also.
Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
Wrap the whole thing in white sauce and deep fry.
Fill the hole with sauce and place a green pea on top of it.
Bake on a greased tray at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
Use wheat bread or multi-grain bread for an organic flavor.
Serve warm with tomato sauce.
