Lynn was left all alone sitting on the raggedy old couch that was in the garage. Her boyfriend was inside using the bathroom and getting something to drink. Then she hears a voice coming just beyond the door. “Hey, sweetie what’s up?
She looks up at him and replies. “Nothing, just waiting on Gerald to come back. He is getting me something to drink.”
“Oh, okay.” He sits down next to her. They start chit chatting about everything and anything under the sun. It was like while they were talking they were in their own little world. They become oblivious to where they are and what time it is.
He starts poking at her a bit. It’s not in a hard or rude way. It’s more in a playful flirtatious way. “Hey! What are you doing? Haha” She laughs as he then starts to tickle her. “Hey! Ahaahhhaaa!” She can’t figure out whether she wants to scream or laugh because of how much he is tickling her. She gets on top of him trying to get his hands. He wraps his arms around her as he is tickling her. She is laughing so hard it is getting harder for her to breathe.
Inside the house everyone can hear her. It sounds like she is screaming. Gerald and his sister come rushing out. They get to the door and see what’s going on. “Hey, what are you doing? Get off my fiancée.” Gerald’s sister yells.
Lynn and Jack stop laughing and tickling. They look up. “We were just. Nothing was happening. We were just joking around.” Jack said. “Yeah.” Lynn chimes in. “We were just joking around. Please, don’t be mad at us.”
Gerald’s sister Abby is trying to get around her brother. She starts swinging at Jack and Lynn. Jack stands up. “Stop! You know me I won’t cheat on you. She just looked so sad. I wanted to cheer her up. We started talking and then I started tickling her. There is nothing going on I promise you”. Abby calms down.
Gerald takes Lynn home. “I’m sorry I really didn’t mean anything by it. We just started talking and he started tickling me, honest. We are just friends okay?” Lynn says in the silence of the car ride.
“Yeah, okay.” Gerald said in an unbelievable tone.
Lynn gets out of the car and sulks to the house. She empties her pockets and sees a piece of paper with some writing and a number. “Call me sometime sweetie -Jack”
