Summer is near. It is in the air. The sun shines longer.. The advertisers fill the waves with diets and all things diet. Their target auidience is adult women in general, with resources geared towards the woman’s diet as they ready for summer attire, but we guys are going out there too.. Here’s one way.
This is a short how-to of one man’s annual exodus outdoors to the beaches, pools, and grills of America. In the spirit of the guy’s guy topic, i’m gonna save the obligatory health warning till the end but be aware i write this with only hopes that this might click with some other person and ultimately bring them better health and welfare.
one of the problems many of us guys have with diets are traditional. despite the food channel, we guys just aren’t as developed in the culinary arts. many diets are just above our pay-grade. the available foods and common preps are uncommon to us. we like meat, and some form of potato. all the rest is good but we really like steak and ribs, see health pro disclaimer at the end, but the good part is we can lose weight eating our meat.
It’s not just girls preparing their beach bodies, the bikinis are coming and we need to lose our belly before we get a closer look, so maybe we can even get a look back this time. Here’s how i did it–lose the weight i mean. We are a creatures of resolve, We make our minds up and stick to it.. So first set your mind that you won’t deviate from the plan for six weeks min.
YOu or going to eat like this today, and tomorrow, and all week, for six weeks. It’s great, but can be tedious, focus on the great… and drink the water. Just start now as you read the rest of the diet, Atkins recommends a lil less i think but i shot for at least a full 64 ounces. IAs i’ll repeat, i’m no health pro, but insane amounts of anything can have insane consequences. Have a container measured to what you must do every day like with my 64oz jug. have a couple of glasses with breakfast. Make it all you drink at first and maintain that level of pure water intake throughout. Keep it with you throught the day as best you can. ok, now let’s eat. for breakfast we can have 3, 4, or 5 eggs even.. be careful guys, we can fry them in butter or we can scrabled them with all the good cheese we want. and the best part i s you can have a pack or two of bacon with it. for me, it’s half a pack of bacon and two eggs scrambled. for lunch you can have two steaks,or four non-breaded pork chops, or both. again be careful guys, just eat till your full is what i’m saying. two steaks sometimes is cool sometimes, and sense is common, use it.. if eating out choose one small green side, water always (for six weeks worth it). if you are preparing your own meals mostly as i was then choose one can (or woman’s equivilant) of vegetable. green beens are best. made good easy, fry a couple of pieces of bacon in the pan before adding the beans and fresh wate and butter and. beef bullion too if you have a cube they’re best slow cooked so you might want to prepare more in advance for saving on prep time but you still must limit your servings to one can or two small servings for the entire day. making extra meats is always helpful. you ave little variety but at least its’good. grilled chicken, pan seared butter steak, anything grilled, baked. just can’t add much to it. we are counting carbs.. find a low carbo saue to cook or dip your meats in… and remember like on hamburger you can add all the cheese you want. make sure it’s zero carb, i need to go check kraft. spread your vegatable between the two afternoon meals if you like but only have one can or two small servings per day., nothing else ever, except…. you have some snacks. i went with pork skins. all you want. and i have to have an occasional sweet myself, i recomeend the weight loss atkins type shakes. there’s candy bars, other snacks and other brands also made specifially for the low carb high protein approach. one shake in the evening after your pork skins is a man’s diet.. and pick up a supplemnt., vitamin, metablomin, whatever. again, not a doctor.
start a short walk. anything to boost metabolism. add a few minutes and improve as posible. . do pushups and situps is especially good as you lose fat you develop muscle, manning up the torso.. not necessary to join a gym, just walk a block.. walk two when you can, and when they have the teeshirt contest you’ll be ready .. that should probably be disclaimer number two. so let’s review, not a doctor, and encourages people to be heathy and wear their tee-shirts to their heart’s content. eat meats and eat the little bit of veggies, in medical terms that’s to stay regular in your belly systems.

note to self– Look up some numbers for the diet, daily carb count, jargon, etc.. Perhaps relate it to the man’s view through the man it was named for. Irony in his death could be used again to warn possible partakers if i can do it appropriately with proper respect and decoreum.
