Suit up for a stellar ninja party. You’ll need to keep the active little ninja guests entertained. These ideas should do the trick.
Give your good ninjas a target with some helium-inflated balloons. Draw a ninja face on each of the balloons. Hold them a few feet off the ground with balloon weights. The party guests get to battle the balloon ninja bad guys. Spread the balloons out so the kids don’t get too close to one another. You don’t want them to hit a fellow good ninja.
This craft lets the kids design their own ninja headbands. You’ll need long strips of white fabric an inch or two wide for the headbands. They should be long enough to go around the child’s head and tie in the back. Set out fabric paint or fabric markers so the kids can decorate their own headbands. The markers will dry faster so the kids can wear them right away.
Ninja Training Course
Set up an obstacle course for the little ninjas. Use a board to make a balance beam. Hold out hula hoops that the kids jump through. Tape streamers across a hallway at different angles and heights to make a laser beam course. Let the kids run through the course while wearing their ninja headbands.
Throwing Star Contest
Fold several paper throwing stars before the guests arrive. Let the kids decorate their throwing stars so they are easy to identify. Put a line of tape on the floor in an area with a lot of open space. Let the kids take turns tossing the throwing stars. The winner is the person who throws it the longest distance. Another option is to set up baskets or bins in various spots. The kids earn points for getting their throwing stars into the bins.
