Who hasn’t had those days were you don’t wanna get up for school and all you want to do is lay in bed or just be at home? Why lie, we all had those days, but you have your mom knocking at your bedroom door or just walking in to wake you up and force you to go to school, or just simple standing at the door with a spray bottle to wake you up with a great morning splash.
Yes. That would be my mother.
This women has gone miles after miles with me to finish this long journey in my life since the very first day I entered pre-k. I haven’t made it easy for her at all from getting into trouble to be a great student. My mom has always stood by my side. This women has made me the strong young adult I am now 12 years later. I’m now standing in front of her with my cap and gown on, seeing her smile knowing that her little baby has accomplished one of her biggest dreams graduating high school and beginning her new life as an adult.
My mom has been my rock when times where rough, when I wanted to give up on my basketball team she was there to encourage me to continue to do what I loved. This women had no limits when it came to supporting me in any event I decided to participate. She was always there to show me that I as well shouldn’t have limits, to believe in myself even if people doubted me and to stand up for what I believed.
A tribute in her honor for being such a great mother and for never doubting my ability of one day becoming someone important, someone with big goals and dreams. Thank you mom for such a great support you’ve provided me through this twelve long years of my life.
