Cook in a skillet 1 pound of Johnsonville Original Recipe Breakfast Sausage Links cut in bite sized pieces; add a medium chopped red bell pepper and onion until translucent. Combine all in a 3 quart glass baking dish that had been prepared ahead of time, adding 3 cups of frozen Ore-Ida hash browns and 1 ½ cups of cheddar cheese.
In a bowl, stir ¾ cup Gluten-Free Bisquick mix, 2 cups of milk, ¼ tsp pepper and 4 eggs until blended. Pour over sausage mixture in baking dish. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and bake until cheese is melted.
Pancakes, waffles and fruit bowls with hash browns and quiches are good choices for feeding a large group of people. Eggs, bacon, omelets and sausages are easily prepared for smaller numbers. Add soothing music and sunshine, and it is a perfect brunch!
A favorite waffle recipe found on Food.com uses 1 cup of brown rice flour, 1/2 cup potato starch and 1/4 cup tapioca flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, ¼ cup of oil, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 cups of milk and 1 tsp of sugar. Add a little bit more milk if batter is too thick. These are light and airy, great for toasting, reheating the next day.
